Don't you dare think that there is anything, past or present, that I would put in front of you. It has never been like that, ever! I need you to see that. I'm begging you.
Anonymous asked: Do you think you could write something with Sam finding out what Dean did and how desperate he got when he thought Sam was dead during red meat? Please?
It’s Amara, of all people, who ends up tipping him off.
They’re at a loss for leads all over again in the wake of losing Lucifer yet again, and it leads them to working other cases while they wait it out. It’s frustrating as hell, especially seeing what it does to Dean- he’s never been good at dealing with the fact that some things are simply beyond his control- and tracking down a textbook poltergeist is all Sam can think of to keep them both distracted. Things are quiet on the supernatural front, and it’s the bet he can find on short notice.
The thing isn’t even hard to deal with. It’s easy to talk the family into letting them purify the house after enduring weeks of torment, and it’s open-and-shut. Hell; they probably could’ve made it back home the same day they showed up, but Sam insists they stay out a little longer, if only to get some fresh air. Besides, a night off might do them good.
She catches them in the motel room, and it’s surprisingly quiet.
